Antimuscarinic Drugs (Bladder)
These are antimuscarinic drugs used primarily in the treatment of overactive bladder. These drugs have preferential inhibition of bladder muscarinic receptors. Blockage of the bladder muscarinic receptors induces relaxation of the bladder, which reduces spasms and allows the bladder to fill more fully prior to emptying.
