Symptoms/Signs:
Anxiety/Agitation
Psychosis
Tachycardia
Tremor/Tongue fasciculations
Seizures (risk peaks approximately 24 hours after cessation)

Thiamine/Folate/Glucose (Wernicke's Encephalopathy, folate deficiency)
Electrolyte management
Other agents: Dexmedetomidine, barbiturates, antipsychotics

Acamprosate (improves abstinence)
