Sodium Channel Blocker: Ranolazine
Ranolazine is a sodium channel blocker that is used in the treatment of chronic stable angina and works by inhibiting the late sodium current. Ranolazine is a sodium channel blocker that reduces intracellular sodium and calcium in cardiac myocytes, which improves cardiac relaxation in the diastolic phase. Ranolazine has multiple drug interactions and prolongs the QT interval.
