Cromolyn
Cromolyn is a medication that is used in the treatment of asthma that works by stabilizing mast cells to limit their degranulation and release of histamine and leukotrienes. Histamine and leukotrienes exacerbate asthma symptoms. Cromolyn requires frequent dosing for effectiveness.
