Dapsone
Dapsone treats both leprosy and pneumocystis jirovecii and works by inhibiting dihydropteroate synthetase, which decreases synthesis of folate. Hemolytic anemia can occur in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. Methemoglobinemia can also occur.
