Hepatitis C Virus Protease Inhibitors
Boceprevir and telaprevir are hepatitis C virus protease inhibitors. HCV protease inhibition limits viral replication. These medications are used in the treatment of hepatitis C. These medications are commonly used in combination with ribavirin or interferon as monotherapy results in rapid resistance.
