Nystatin
Nystatin is a commonly used antifungal medication that work by binding to ergosterol in the fungal membrane, which leads to pore formation and free migration of electrolytes that leads to cell death. Nystatin is used to treat oral, cutaneous, and vulvovaginal candida infections.
