Topoisomerase Inhibitors
Irinotecan and topotecan are topoisomerase I inhibitors, which is an essential enzyme in DNA replication. Etoposide inhibits topoisomerase II and the DNA complex, which leaves DNA susceptible to breakage. Adverse effects include myelosuppression.
